WHAT’S CEDRO?

The “Centro Español de Derechos Reprográficos” (Reprography Rights Spanish Center) (CEDAR) (for further information visit www.cedro.org) is a non-lucrative association of authors, books, magazines and other publications editors, published in any mean and support, which is in charge of defending and managing in a collective way their intellectual property rights of inherital kind (reproduction, transformation, public communication and distribution). The association was authorized by the Ministry of Culture in 1988, under the protection of the Intellectual Property Law.

CEDAR´s target in Spain is improving the conditions of written culture work creators (writers, translators, journalists and editors) and facilitating citizens a legal access to books, magazines and other publications, published in any mean and support.
